We decided to splurge on some newborn photos, and are so happy we did! These beautiful shots were taken by Andrea Ryerson.
She has her own studio and a million props (headbands, wraps, bonnets, cradles, baskets, backdrops, etc.). She is extremely patient and knows just how to setup the shot to be stunning. We highly recommend her!
We are so happy to announce that Eleanor (Ella) Agatha was born on March 17 at 4:30 p.m.! She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 20.5″ tall. She is such a doll and we are so thrilled to have her join our little family ❤
I’ve been meaning to post this for awhile but have been enjoying my family time so much I didn’t have time to finish it until now. And so, without further ado, here is Eleanor’s birth story along with a quick update on how things have been going (bear with me, this is a long one!). Continue reading
Apparently I haven’t posted a full update on Henry and baby since NOVEMBER (sorry), so here goes… I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant with baby girl, and Henry is a strong-willed two year old. This pregnancy hasn’t been as easy on me as the last, and I’m happy that we are nearing the end and little lady will be here soon! Specifically, she will be here in three weeks and two days, which is March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day baby!). We recently made the decision to be induced because my doctor is going to be on vacation the week of my actual due date, and the induction will only be five days before I’m due (the same number of days early that Henry arrived). I’m a little nervous about the induction since we didn’t do one with Henry’s birth and I don’t fully know what to expect, but having a specific end date is like breathing a sigh of relief. New bumpie from last week – baby is getting big!
25 weeks: Baby is the size of a head of cauliflower/package of Oreos/prairie dog.
26 weeks: Baby is the size of a head of lettuce/Double Gulp/Slow loris (look it up – they are adorable!).
See all the bumpies for this pregnancy here.
Pat the Belly has a new look! I decided it was time for a redesign now that we are having a girl, so I went full blown pink.
I’m missing my pregnant mama logo at the top of the page already, so I’ll probably figure out a way to work her back into the design in addition to the stroller, but for now I’m keeping it simple.
Let me know what you think in the comments!
