We decided to splurge on some newborn photos, and are so happy we did! These beautiful shots were taken by Andrea Ryerson.
She has her own studio and a million props (headbands, wraps, bonnets, cradles, baskets, backdrops, etc.). She is extremely patient and knows just how to setup the shot to be stunning. We highly recommend her!

We are so happy to announce that Eleanor (Ella) Agatha was born on March 17 at 4:30 p.m.! She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 20.5″ tall. She is such a doll and we are so thrilled to have her join our little family ❤

I can’t believe my baby boy is two years old today. TWO. Or as he would say when asked how old he is, “BIG!”
He speaks in full sentences, loves Toy Story and Frozen, Thomas and Mickey. He is doing great with potty training, can say the entire alphabet, and can count to eleven. He loves noodles, “mushy crackers” (smashed up graham crackers with milk), green beans and apple cider. Continue reading

Well, we did it. We started potty training Henry. I have been debating when to make the jump for a few months now, and have been reading Oh Crap! Potty Training by Jamie Glowacki (self-proclaimed “Pied Piper of Poop”). It basically condenses a year’s worth of traditional potty training WAY down. Here’s the general idea behind the book/theory:
Your child is probably ready to be potty trained EARLIER than you think (ideally, between 20–30 months), and it can be done FASTER than you expect (most kids get the basics in a few days—but Jamie’s got you covered even if it takes a little longer).
We were very excited for our 20 week ultrasound yesterday, where we were able to see our little one moving around again and found out that baby is very healthy. Being able to feel baby moving at the same time that you see it happening on the sonogram is just the weirdest, most amazing experience ever. This time we even got to do the 3D ultrasound so we could see baby’s face – we are already in love!! Continue reading
